The Closer I Get To God, The More The Devil Wants A Piece Of Me

Disabled parking at the Florida Mall, Orlando…

Ok, the five main blogs I’ve written everyday for 2+ years have found their Internet place as short and pithy. It resonates with people. All 5 can be easily navigated in under 2 minutes. Not bad for free, a 5-pronged approach to daily balance.

This jeff noel 60 blog and four others, are not known for short & pithy. They will evolve as I evolve. As we all evolve.

Wanted to share this with you though. Earlier today, I Tweeted & Facebook updated the exact message as this blog post title:  The Closer I Get To God, The More The Devil Wants A Piece Of Me.

I see God everywhere. The devil hates it.

A Mid Life Celebration Fan Page friend said:

“We get the target on our backs as soon as we move out of apathy and complacency zone. How great to know that you are an important target — proof that you are on the right track. Peace.”

When you learn to embrace living with a deadline, without knowing the deadline, it allows you to do more, and be more of what you really hope to be.

June 8, 2011 gives jeff noel 8 more years to live out the tag line: What If You Only Had 10 Years Left?

No one will be more inspired about your dreams than you. Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams. Carpe diem (as a battle cry, not a slogan)!

So The World Didn’t End Today, Good Thing Because Most Were Unprepared

Pretty good insurance policy right here…

So The World Didn’t End Today, Good Thing Because Most Were Unprepared. And why should we be prepared? “It won’t happen while I’m alive!” Right, that’s what people think.

What would you do if you had only ten years left? I mean, besides squander the first few years (or more) by doing nothing.

Only a handful really feared the worst today. My take is it was a sensationalized and poorly executed marketing effort, with good intentions – inspire people to at least give the end some thought.

That’s what I do, but my approach is much more quiet. Subtle.

Most of us haven’t met yet. Hello, I’m jeff noel, The Blog Whisperer,  The Internet’s Only Five-A-Day Blogger, every morning whispering to the world, “Live, before you die!”

Long story short, I created a 100-day challenge for myself, to write in my five blogs every day for 100 days. All of this because I promised 30 years ago I’d write a book for my kids. That was 26 months and 4,000 blog posts ago – April Fools Day 2009.

Well, life is funny sometimes. No kids, instead, just one child. Parenthood finally achieved after 8 years and a life savings spent. Yee-Haw!

Mid Life Celebration is where this all starts. Five blogs: Mind, Body, Spirit, Money, HQ. Call them Life’s Big Choices, or Parenting 101, the basics.

This blog, as well Leadership Is Like Training A Puppy, Wellness Challenge, The Blog Whisperer, and Life’s Big Choices are where I write when I don’t have enough time to write trademark jeff noel short & pithy blog posts.

Don’t Die With A Book In You

Fort Dodge, Iowa hotel lobby, last week.

We all have an amazing story to tell. Every last one of us. The challenge is this:

  1. We don’t believe this
  2. Even if we did, we wouldn’t know where to start
  3. Even if we started, we’d find a way to quit
  4. And after we’d quit, we’d live with regret for the rest of our lives

Don’t die with a book in you. Start here.
